Electrofuels are a new class of ultra-low carbon synthetic fuels developed by Infinium. They are a drop-in replacement to current fossil-based fuels, and can be immediately used in airplanes, trucks and ships without the need for costly engine modifications.
Infinium fuels have the potential to revolutionize the transportation sector by helping companies reduce harmful carbon dioxide emissions and help to mitigate climate change.
Infinium has spent more than a decade developing the proprietary processes and technology required to produce electrofuels. Infinium’s solution is unique because it requires no post-process refining typical of other hydrogen-based fuel solutions.
An added benefit of Infinium’s unique design is the ability for each large-scale electrofuels production facility to mitigate more than 300,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually that would otherwise be emitted into the atmosphere—which alone is the carbon offset equivalent of planting nearly 5 million tree seedlings that are each grown for ten years.

Infinium Electrofuels are classified as ultra-low carbon fuels, meaning usage results in a greater than 95% reduction in net carbon dioxide emissions when compared to traditional petroleum based fuels.
They are also cleaner burning than traditional fuels and reduce harmful air toxics when used in vehicles. They contain no sulfur and are produced with nearly zero process emissions.
