INFINIUM eFUELS SOLUTION

Infinium is the leading provider of eFuels technology and projects and operates the world’s first eFuels commercial production plant in North America, known as Project Pathfinder. Today, Infinium eFuels are used in commercial applications with Amazon, Borealis, and other prominent industry leaders who are taking an active role in decarbonizing their supply chains.

For the past two years we have been producing and selling commercial quantities of ultra-low carbon transportation fuels and chemicals including eDiesel, and eNaphtha.

In 2025 we now offer a full eFuels system package including technology licenses, catalysts, and core equipment for customers looking to deploy eFuels on their own. We are the world’s only provider of a commercial, end-to-end solution for eFuels production.

THE INFINIUM eFUELS SOLUTION PROCESS

Each Infinium eFuels System Solution starts with three primary feedstocks: renewable power, water and anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2).

PATENTED CATALYSTS

Infinium’s electrofuels process combines proven, established technologies with innovative processes and proprietary catalysts and reactors for the unique production of liquid fuels and chemicals that deliver high conversion efficiency and ideal fuel production yields.

ELECTROLYSIS

Today, electrolysis is one of the leading solutions for low-carbon hydrogen production. Infinium utilizes commercial-ready electrolysis in its integrated eFuels production facilities to produce green hydrogen. Electrolysis works by utilizing renewable electricity to split water (H2O) into carbon-free “green” hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O).

SYNGAS PRODUCTION

Green hydrogen (H2) is then paired with anthropogenic CO2 (that would have otherwise been emitted to the atmosphere) through a proprietary process and catalyst developed by Infinium to produce syngas (H2: CO), which is comprised of hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (CO). While syngas is a common chemical intermediary, Infinium has cracked the code to ultra-low carbon syngas production with high CO2 conversion through a process that can scale to meet the growing demand in the market.

LIQUID FUEL PRODUCTION

Syngas is then processed through Infinium’s proprietary liquid fuel production process and catalyst to produce liquid transportation fuels. Infinium deploys a “chain limiting catalyst” in this process step that produces liquid fuels directly, unlike traditional Fischer-Tropsch processes that produce mostly wax. Unique to the industry, Infinium’s patented catalyst and process eliminate the need for wax refining or co-processing at a refinery. Infinium’s liquid fuel production process has been commercially operated, providing an intensified solution for ultra-low carbon fuel production.

The results are the production of ultra-low carbon Infinium eSAF, Infinium eDiesel, and Infinium eNaphtha. Infinium eFuels can be used directly in existing infrastructure, without costly modifications. Infinium’s eChemicals can be used directly in existing chemical supply chains to produce everyday goods such as plastics, solvents, and cosmetics.

UNIQUE IN THE INDUSTRY

Infinium’s unique value proposition comes from both its technology ownership and project development portfolio and its expertise in the industry. Our technical approach, developed over more than a decade, has been refined for commercial applications. With a pipeline of over a dozen major projects globally, Infinium is ready to help our customers decarbonize by producing eFuels at scale.
